A large fire has broken out at an electricity substation in north-west London, sending flames and heavy clouds of smoke into the air.
More than 100 firefighters are tackling the blaze on Aberdeen Place, near to Edgware Road, where an electrical transformer caught alight at about 05:30 BST.
The fire has spread to the roof of a neighbouring block of flats which has been evacuated, affecting about 80 residents.
There have been no reports of any injuries, although LFB has advised local residents to keep their doors and windows closed.
There have been no reports of any disruption to the electricity supply in the area.
UK Power Networks, which runs the substation, said: „Our teams are working with the fire service to make the equipment safe.
„This is an isolated incident and customers‘ supplies were not impacted.“
